Banyan Tree Residences has formally entered the U.S. condominium market with the launch of sales for a new branded residential tower at 400 Hibiscus Street in downtown West Palm Beach, announced March 24, 2026, representing the first American residential project from Banyan Group‘s flagship Banyan Tree brand. The development is being advanced by Mast Capital and Curated JCZM Development in collaboration with Banyan Group, marking the hospitality company’s direct entry into the domestic residential sector after decades of international expansion across resorts, hotels, spas, and branded homes. The launch also marks Banyan Group’s U.S. entry and the debut of the flagship Banyan Tree brand in the American residential market.
The project is positioned one block from CityPlace and two blocks from the Intracoastal Waterway, within a walkable district connected to Royal Poinciana Plaza, Palm Beach Island, and Worth Avenue. Its location places it in what the developers identify as South Florida’s fastest-growing residential market, while the planning concept is framed around balancing downtown accessibility, including dining, shopping, entertainment, and waterfront leisure, with the privacy expectations associated with a high-service branded residence.
Programmatically, the tower will contain 88 residences, configured in one- to four-bedroom layouts alongside a limited collection of penthouses, with entry pricing starting at approximately $1.8 million. Each home is designed as a corner residence with wraparound terraces, and most units will include direct private elevator entry, a specification intended to support both exclusivity and circulation efficiency within the vertical residential program.
The design team combines architecture by OMA, the firm founded by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas, interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, and landscape design by Enzo Enea. According to the project description, this is the first collaboration among OMA, Yabu Pushelberg, Enzo Enea, and Banyan Group, with the design language emphasizing natural materials, restrained detailing, and sustainability. The tower is conceived as a dual-form structure intended to reinforce light, air, and view access throughout the residences. Reflecting broader shifts in buyer expectations, residences featuring sustainability-driven design and eco-conscious specifications have been shown to command higher property premiums compared to conventional developments.
Amenities will be distributed across multiple levels and organized around a hospitality-driven operating model, including a private porte cochère, resort-style pool, social and recreation spaces, and a wellness center with spa facilities, deluxe treatment rooms, cryotherapy, a hammam, and meditation spaces. Banyan Group, which has a presence in more than 20 countries and a portfolio exceeding 100 hotels and resorts plus 140 spas and galleries, described the United States as an important market, while development partners characterized the launch as a defining moment for the partnership and a pivotal moment for West Palm Beach.
